Soma

Soma (carisoprodol) is a prescription muscle-relaxant that relieves pain resulting from some injury. This medicine is supposed to be taken orally three times a day, unless otherwise recommended by your health care provider. If you do not remember the instructions of your health care provider you can ask your pharmacist for additional information or read the label carefully. If you have a history of liver or kidney disease, tell your doctor about that. Headache, drowsiness, upset stomach, skin rash, vomiting, fast heartbeat and dizziness are some of the side effects you may experience when taking this medicine. There is nothing you can do to avoid them in general, but make sure you report any of the side effects that change in intensity or become particularly bothersome with time. Normally, however, these symptoms are most likely to go away on heir own. Soma can cause a number of serious side effects, although these are very rare. Call your health care provider immediately if you have fever, weakness, trouble breathing and burning in the eyes. If you have an allergy to any other medication or had it in the past make sure your doctor is aware of that fact. In case of taking any drugs they need to be reported to your health care provider. This is especially important as drug interactions with Soma have been reported. Make sure your health care provider knows that you are taking or have been recently taking sleeping pills, any supplements or vitamins, sedatives, muscles relaxants, sleeping wills and drugs for the treatment of coughs, colds and allergies.
